In The Heart

In the hearts of men hate doth lie,

For they rejoice in glory and gore.

Blood stains their skin

Until they begin to get a taste

Of power and war.

They enslave their fellow man

Wearing them down

Because their God told them they can,

And it was on their head God had chosen to place his crown.

But in the heart of souls love doth lie,

For they rejoice in compassion and love.

Passion stains their skin

Until they begin to get a taste

Of God.

They set themselves free

Carrying truth and knowledge in their hearts

Because they know they are their God,

And no man ever adorns a crown.

We already are who we’re meant to be.

Be happy. Be you.
